We strongly believe in the strength of 'open-source' software and will adopt its use wherever possible (rather than tie our clients into commercial licensing commitments). We feel that this community-driven approach to software development has delivered products that offer extremely high levels of quality, reliability and security.

Furthermore, the 'free' licensing agreements adopted by the majority of open-source products can offer significant cost-savings both to ourselves and to our clients  - this saving continues, regardless of how large or quickly a business grows.

In our opinion, open-source products have now reached a level of maturity, stability and usability that is capable of challenging well-known commercial products. Open-source solutions are rapidly gaining acceptance in the business community with numerous 'blue-chip' corporations (including IBM, Sun, HP and Dell) investing large sums of money to adopt and/or support both the products and the communities that develop and support them.
